Scrambled eggs are a must for a cooking spree at the weekend. It’s no secret getting the right technique for eggs to come out tasty can often be difficult, but it’s worth the hassle.

Now when it comes to a delicious Sunday brunch, how do you like your eggs in the morning? Well if you prefer them creamier and fluffier, especially if they’re scrambled, then listen up.

According to the Tasty UK food channel on TikTok, there’s one step you must remember if you want perfect eggs. One of their resident cooks shared her hack to scrambled eggs so yours never turn out dry and crusty ever again.

She said: “Here’s how to make my fluffy, creamy scrambled eggs and I’m going to serve it in a cruffle, I’m going through a cruffle phase at the moment.”

With her ingredients, she used 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of milk, along with salt and pepper. Make sure you give these ingredients a mix in the bowl then it’s time to start frying.

Sharing the method, the cook added: “Whisk the heck out of them until your arms are going to fall off and then pour the mixture into a frying pan.”

And as for one step which may be forgotten, she advised to leave the eggs for a few seconds in the pan.

She detailed: “Don’t touch it, leave it for about 10 seconds and then start to gently push the eggs into the centre, that’s it creamy, fluffy scrambled eggs for brunch this weekend.”

Scrambled eggs are a classic, versatile dish made by beating eggs with milk, cream or water and then cooking them over gentle heat while stirring, breaking into soft curds.

The key to perfect, creamy scrambled eggs is using a non-stick pan, medium-low heat, and removing them while they are still runny as they continue to cook on the plate.

Method to make the best scrambled eggs:

Whisk: Crack the eggs into a bowl with milk/water and a pinch of salt. Whisk with a fork or until thoroughly combined with no streaks of white.

Heat pan: Melt butter in a small non-stick skillet over medium-low heat until it foams.

Cook: Pour in the egg mixture. Let it sit for a 10-20 seconds, then use a rubber spatula to gently fold and stir the eggs, pushing them from the edges to the centre.

Final step: Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly but gently to avoid breaking them into tiny, dry bits.

Remove early: Once the eggs are mostly set but still look slightly wet/runny, remove them from the pan.

Serve: Now for the fun bit, season with pepper and garnish, serving immediately.
