Foo Fighters Play ‘All My Life’ on ‘Amazon Music Live’: Watch

The Foo Fighters hit the stage, or rather the floor, last night, Oct. 30, for their performance on Amazon Music Live.

The band kept their set relatively short and sweet, playing just 11 songs, compared to their usual marathon sets of 20-plus tunes. Still, the band packed in hits from across their catalog, with their show-opening performance of “All My Life” available to watch on YouTube. (The full concert premiered after Thursday Night Football, and it’s currently still streaming on Prime Video and Twitch.)

Foo Fighters filmed their Amazon Music Live set at East End Studios in Los Angeles. The band declined to set up on stage, choosing instead to perform on the floor in the round. Frontman Dave Grohl said this made the show feel a bit more like a Foo Fighters rehearsal, though he also joked that it “kind of looks like a Lenny Kravitz video.” 

The Foo Fighters returned to the stage in September, playing a handful of special club and theater shows where they unveiled new drummer Ilan Rubin (brought in to replace Josh Freese). They’ve since played a handful of bigger shows in Asia and have scheduled a proper North American stadium tour for 2026. The run is scheduled to kick off Aug. 4, 2026, in Toronto and wrap Sept. 26 in Las Vegas, with Queens of the Stone Age serving as openers. 

Foo Fighters also appear to be prepping a new album. In July, they dropped a new track, “Today’s Song,” and the 2026 tour announcement was accompanied by a new single, “Asking for a Friend.” In a statement, Grohl said the song was “for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear. Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again. One of many songs to come…”

The most recent Foo Fighters album, But Here We Are, was released in 2023.
