Benefit’s Precisely, My Brow eyebrow pencil has been hailed as a “favourite brow product” by shoppers for creating “natural”-looking brows. The pencil comes in a wide range of shades, but the grey colour is really winning over mature shoppers, who say it’s helped them embrace their natural beauty.

“Benefit makes my favourite brow products, hands down,” wrote one shopper in a review. “The Precisely My Brow pencil is thin without being too fragile; pigmented without looking like a marker; has great consistency — not too dry or waxy; and comes in so many shades, I think you’d be hard-pressed not to find yours. I’m especially grateful for the grey tones Benefit carries: there’s no shame in ageing or embracing your natural colour.”

Alongside the cool grey shade, the pencil also comes in an impressive range of colours — from soft blondes and warm reds to rich brunettes and black.

If you’ve been curious about trying a grey brow pencil but haven’t quite taken the plunge, now’s a great time to give the Benefit Precisely pencil a go. The mini version is currently discounted at Lookfantastic. Usually £14.50, it’s now just £10.88, saving shoppers 25%. You can also grab the full-size version, which is on sale for £19.50 (down from £26).

Other than size, the main difference between the mini and the full version is that the latter comes with a spoolie, which is perfect for shaping and blending your brows. So if that’s something you like, the full-size option might be worth it.

In a review, one shopper shared: “At 61, my formerly black eyebrows have just enough grey to make them disappear. This brow pencil is natural, easy and lasts like crazy.”

Another added: “Absolutely love this eyebrow pencil. After years of over-plucking my brows in the 90s, this is the only thing that gives me a natural effect to fill my brows. I don’t use anything else now.”

With its twist-up design and retractable ultra-fine tip, the pencil requires no sharpening. Benefit says it creates natural-looking, hair-like strokes, and its waterproof formula means it stays put through busy days, surprise showers, and even gym sessions—ideal for anyone who doesn’t want their brows disappearing halfway through the day.

That said, one shopper did note: “Although I like the colour, the pencil seemed very dry, meaning you have to press quite hard to work, which means it doesn’t really give a fine line.”
