The £14 eyeliner that is ‘made for’ mature shoppers

With many makeup products on the market, it can be difficult for shoppers to know what to choose – and what will suit them best. But there’s an eyeliner available, with a discount, that claims to be perfect for those with mature skin. 

The Kajal Longwear Eyeliner is currently available from Laura Geller Beauty for £14, reduced from £22. The brand claims that the product’s versatile formula never smears or smudges, making it long-lasting. 

Available in 17 colours, shoppers will be able to choose the one that suits them best. The brand states that the eyeliner is perfect for all-day wear, hooded eyelids, mature skin and a steady application. 

The brand says this signature soft kohl liner delivers richly pigmented colour in smooth, skip-free strokes. It is also infused with vitamin E and caffeine to condition the eyelids and reduce puffiness.

The product includes a built-in sharpener, making it easy to use regularly. It can also be used as a shadow crayon, the brand says. 

Alternatives include this Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil from Rimmel, available for £2.99 on Boots. The brand says the product’s smudgy kohl texture glides over lids, without dragging delicate skin around the eye area.

Or there’s the Eye Kohl liner from Mac, available for £20. It has eight colours and has a matte/pearl finish.

Reviews for the Laura Geller Kajal Longwear Eyeliner are very positive, with an average 4.3 out of five star rating, out of more than 2,000 reviews. One said: “I have tried many eyeliners and this is the best one I’ve ever used.”

Someone else said the product is now their ‘new favourite’. They wrote: “I absolutely love these eyeliners. They stay on all day without smudging or running and the colour is intense.” A third said: “Absolutely love this liner. Stays on for a longtime. Beautiful.”

One person was less impressed, however, saying: “I like the eyeliner pencil but it is not long wearing. Mine was gone within the hour.”
