Tess Daly’s ‘gorgeous’ Strictly dress is under £100
Tess Daly brought the glam to the Strictly Come Dancing stage this weekend in a stunning one-shoulder dress, and shoppers wanting to copy her look are in luck, as we’ve found the exact dress – and it’s in stock in all sizes.
The former model, who has presented the programme since 2004, wore this one-shoulder dress from Karen Millen, according to the Mirror.
Retailing for £89, the dress is available in sizes XS-L, and comes in two colours. As well as the bright purple worn by the presenter, there is also a black version of the dress, which is currently on sale for £71.20, saving shoppers 20%.
The dress is made from a figure-hugging stretchy crepe fabric, with ruched detailing designed to contour and flatter the body, while its ankle-grazing length is meant to elongate the silhouette. Its asymmetric one-shoulder neckline is enhanced by gold-tone hardware that adds a touch of glamour.
“You look incredible in that KM dress Tess,” the brand commented on a backstage photo posted on the presenter’s Instagram, with fans chiming in to compliment the “fabulous dress”.
“Love that colour on you Tess,” one wrote, while another commented she was “looking stunning as always,” adding they “love the dress”.
The elegant dress is perfect for weddings, and with the upcoming festive season it can add a touch of class to a holiday party outfit. It can be paired with a metallic heel, like Tess, but it can also be worn with something more understated, like a black pump.
But it wasn’t just Tess who looked extravagant on Sunday night. The results show saw Claudia Winkleman wearing this pink tie-neck blouse from Tabitha Simmons’ collection with Next, which was shared by her stylist Sinead McKeefry during the show.
Although when she first shared it it was stocked in all sizes, it appears to be sold out in sizes 6-16, with only sizes 18-22 remaining in stock.
Meanwhile, Tess’s dress, available in sizes XS to L, is still widely available on the Karen Millen website for £89.
