‘Masterpiece’ Tarantino film now streaming on UK Netflix | Films | Entertainment

Movie fans will be delighted to discover the Quentin Tarantino classic that has been added to Netflix for UK subscribers. Tarantino is one of the most renowned directors to emerge from Hollywood, and he is recognised for his distinctive storytelling style. One of his most iconic movies from his catalogue has just been added to Netflix, giving fans of the filmmaker the chance to enjoy what many consider to be a “masterpiece”.

Kill Bill was added to Netflix today (Tuesday, September 30), which will delight fans of he cult classic. Kill Bill: Volume 1 was released in 2003 and became an instant classic. The film has an impressive 85% Rotten Tomatoes score and still stands as one of the director’s very best films. It was praised by both critics and audiences at the time, and continues to be applauded even more than 20 years after its release.

Kill Bill follows The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, a pregnant assassin who goes into a coma for years after her ex-boss Bill brutally attacks her. Once she wakes up, she sets out on a revenge mission, hunting for Bill and his associates.

Fans have had overwhelmingly positive things to say about Kill Bill. One movie buff wrote on IMDb: “In ‘Kill Bill’, the revenge plot serves only as a larger story arc, thus allowing Tarantino to play with as many different genres as he likes, and boy – what a mix he dishes out! With complete disregard for the conventions of filmmaking, he paints an expressionistic masterpiece in his own unique style, the likes of which the world has never seen before. Cinema rarely gets this exciting.”

Another said: “This movie is unusual, but it works for me. It kept me intrigued from the beginning with the plot, which is not entirely clear, but that made it more interesting for me. There’s a lot of action in the movie, which I found excellent and enjoyed a lot. It might not be realistic, but it’s a movie, so it doesn’t have to be.”
