Skechers shoppers praise ‘best slippers ever’ now under £28

Keeping our feet toasty is important in the winter, and a cosy pair of slippers can go a long way in colder weather. Just in time for the season to turn, Amazon shoppers have found a fluffy and warm pair that’s currently 29% off.

The Skechers Keepsakes Ice Angel Slippers usually retail for around £40 at Next and Skechers, but their discounted price on Amazon is currently £27.72, reports Bristol Live.

Skechers has built a reputation for its memory foam footwear, which allows customers to wear their products for extended periods with minimal discomfort. These slippers are no exception, as they have a plush foam footbed and a sole made from ethylene vinyl acetate – the material that also makes Crocs light and comfy.

They come in a range of neutral colours, from charcoal grey and black to a lighter cream shade, featuring a soft sweater knit fabric exterior and faux fur lining. 

The slippers are a fan favourite, with one shopper saying they are “so comfy and warm to wear” that they are on their fourth pair. 

A second shopper, who bough these as a gift for their mum, said they have “excellent sole grip, [the] fit is true to size and slipper stays securely on foot even though back of slipper is low. Warm and comfortable and last well”.

Another loyal fan said they “have three pairs of these and wouldn’t buy anything else”. They continued: “I have Plantar Fasciitis and these are great support for my tired feet”.

The same review also mentions they are easy to take care of, saying “they wash well and fluff back up nicely”.

Echoing this sentiment, another happy shopper called these the “best slippers for comfort,” explaining they “last for years, had my last pair for 4 years, washed multiple times… the memory foam insole makes them really comfortable”. They also added that “the hard wearing soles make them suitable for outdoors”.

One comment that comes up in multiple reviews is that the slippers run a little big, so shoppers are advised to size down to ensure a snug fit. Another detail to keep in mind is that these slip on, so they are not advised for those who prefer enclosed options.
