Mind-bending brainteaser shows whether you’re ‘stressed or calm’

Are you experiencing stress at this moment?

If so, you might want to address that, as stress represents one of the most damaging things we can inflict upon our bodies. The NHS states experiencing mild stress occasionally can be advantageous and may even help to “motivate” us towards certain actions.

Nevertheless, when it begins seriously impacting your wellbeing, affecting you both mentally and physically, there are lifestyle modifications you might consider implementing.

However, how can you determine whether you’re genuinely stressed?

One puzzle claims it can assess your present stress levels, leaving many astounded by the results. Examine the image below – what occurs?

Frank Elaridi shared the brainteaser, with text above stating: “This image was made by a neurologist from Japan.

“It remains still when you’re calm, moves a little when you’re a little stressed, and mimics a carousel when you’re under high stress.”

Accompanying the image, he wrote: “Stress is the universe’s way of showing you that you’re living out of alignment with your soul’s purpose.

“It’s not the workload, the people, or the pressure – it’s the disconnection between your actions and your gifts, your daily life and your deeper calling.”

He subsequently revealed his personal experience, writing: “I know this because I lived it. I went from being a 4x Emmy-winning journalist to a full-time energy healer, and that transition taught me everything about alignment vs. resistance”.

Frank elaborated: “When you start honouring the quiet voice inside instead of the noise outside, stress doesn’t disappear – but it transforms into clarity. It becomes your guide, not your curse.”

So, what do you see when you gaze at the image? Is it as tranquil as your mind? Slightly moving?

Or are you feeling overwhelmed and it’s in constant motion?

The brainteaser left people baffled, with many stating it didn’t seem to follow a discernible pattern. However, some suggested the speed at which it moved was influenced by another factor.

One individual commented: “For me, the amount of movement is dependent upon where in the image I am focusing my attention.”

“It keeps stopping and starting, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!?” another person questioned.

A woman shared: “It’s completely still for me-doesn’t budge. I asked my husband what he sees and he goes, ‘What do you mean? It’s clearly rotating clockwise’.”

An Instagram user recounted a touching tale about her encounter with this brainteaser, writing: “I came across this during the pandemic and it was going so fast that I had a hard time keeping up with it. Now it barely moved and I thought it was broken until I looked at the explanation. It’s nice to know my brain has calmed down since then.”
