As Christmas approaches, beauty Advent calendars are once again taking centre stage with brands such as Sephora, Space NK, Harvey Nichols, and Selfridges all on offer. Now, high street retailer Boots has revealed it is releasing two for 2025, each filled with full-sized products and big savings.

The Boots 24 day premium beauty Advent calendar costs £150 but has contents worth more than £612. Inside are 25 products, 17 of which are full-sized, across skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare. Shoppers will find cult names including Elemis, MAC, Estee Lauder, Sol de Janeiro, Milk Makeup and NARS. One standout inclusion is the Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturiser (50ml), worth £62 alone.

The calendar itself comes in a reusable, circus-inspired box, but the real focus is the mix of products. As with any beauty edit, not every inclusion will suit everyone, so it’s worth checking the full list before buying. Highlights also include the Too Faced Kissing Jelly Lip Oil, Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, and Fenty Beauty Icon Velvet Lipstick, alongside well-known favourites from Origins, Benefit, and Philip Kingsley.

For those who prefer a skincare-first approach, Boots is also bringing back its 24 Days of Skincare Advent calendar for a second year. Priced at £70, it has a value of £289 and contains 20 full-sized products from brands such as Bubble, PIXI, BYOMA, Garnier, Soap & Glory and a range of K-beauty names including Anua, Haruharu, Tocobo and Round Lab. Boots has confirmed a small correction on packaging: instead of the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream, this edition includes the Cetaphil Rich Night Cream (50g).

With a line-up of over 40 advent calendars this year, Boots is positioning itself as one of the broadest destinations for festive beauty. Alongside these two premium picks, there are No7 editions, single-brand calendars, and the long-running Macmillan Charity Advent Calendar, which has raised more than £149,000 since 2021 and is currently reduced to £44 from £90.

Elsewhere, rivals are also upping the stakes. LookFantastic’s 2025 calendar costs £105 with a value of £655, while Sephora’s £225 version contains 41 products and sells out quickly in previous years. With Boots now in the mix at both £70 and £150 price points, shoppers have more options than ever.
