Becky G is going to give a “glimpse” into her life in an upcoming documentary. On Friday, the Mexican American star announced that her upcoming film, Rebbeca, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 12.

“I can’t believe I am writing this right now… I am so honored that my documentary will debut at the 2025 Tribeca festival,” Becky wrote on Instagram. “If only younger me could see how far we’ve come… Excited for you all to take a dive into the chapter of my life that this documentary captured.”

Becky teased that the film will capture her making her first música mexicana album, Esquinas, her first headlining tour in 2023, and “a glimpse into this continued journey of healing.”

She concluded her post by writing: “This has been a long time in the making… I bet you think you know a lot about Becky G, but I truly can’t wait for you to meet Rebbeca, coming June 12.”

Becky G embarked on her first solo tour in 2023, a full decade after debuting as a singer with “Becky From the Block” and her Play It Again EP. The tour celebrated her three albums: the reggaeton LPs Mala Santa and Esquemas, and her Mexican music record, Esquinas.

Along with Rebbeca, Miley Cyrus’ Something Beautiful visual album, Billy Joel: And So It Goes, and Metallica Saved My Life are also scheduled to premiere at Tribeca. The festival takes place from June 4 to 15 in New York City. Tickets for the fest go on sale to the general public April 29.

“Tribeca has always been more than a festival—it’s a home for artists navigating an ever-changing industry and an ever-changing world,” Tribeca Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal said in a statement earlier this week. “For over two decades, we’ve championed emerging voices, celebrated established storytellers, and built a creative community where artists can grow, connect, and thrive. We’re proud of the ecosystem we’ve cultivated and can’t wait to share it with the world this June.”
