‘Brilliant’ XL barbecue is ‘very easy to build’ and can cook whole chicken

BBQ season is (nearly) well under way and it’s time to get your host on for outdoor garden parties with family and friends. Entertaining can either be fun or stressful and messy, so having the correct BBQ can make or break a good day.

Whether it’s a large meal for one, or cooking for an entire squad, this BBQ has a large grilling space that can accommodate over 10 burger patties and 10 sausages at the same time. There is also the option to grill or smoke a variety of meats including steaks or chicken – so there is choice aplenty. 

With a built-in-thermometer the BBQ ensures that everything is cooked fully. It also features an adjustable chimney, vent and coal tray to control the heat for different recipes. Unlike some BBQs that leave people having to cook everything at different times, the CosmoGrill has variable heat zones which means different types of meats can be cooked simultaneously at separate temperatures.

This BBQ has a built-in bottle opener and four hooks to hold any extra pieces of equipment, along with a bottom storage shelf and a removable ash tray. If you’re wondering if it will fit, it has dimensions of 66D x 124W x 113.5H in centimetres.

However, customers did rate the CosmoGrill BBQ highly as it got a 4.6 out of 5 star rating from a total of 2,937 Amazon reviews. One customer said: “This is a brilliant BBQ. Very easy to build although it’s a little long. The ease of use is greater and even the temperature gauge is spot on as well. It’s extremely sturdy as well and does a brilliant job of keeping the heat in and doing a good BBQ. I love it!”

Another shopper wrote: “Honestly, for the price…you cannot beat it. Used twice over the Easter weekend when having friends and family over. It’s still early days but I wouldn’t swap it for anything else even if you tried.”

“What a great little BBQ. Bought as you can move it around the garden unlike the bigger, heavier gas versions. Very pleased, well made, easy to put together and all the little extra bits are well thought out and make it a great experience,” said another buyer.

Some weren’t as impressed with one shopper saying: “The fixtures are of very poor quality. The instructions are not clear. The BBQ grill is excellent and serves the purpose very well. The grill as a whole is wonderful, just have an issue with its fixtures and the instructions.”

Another wrote: “It took a few hours to put this grill together. Not all the pieces were labelled and the instructions could be easier especially around attaching the charcoal pan crank handle.”
