President Donald Trump announced he is exempting a number of tech devices and components from his new tariffs, including smartphones and computers. A White House official says the president signed an exemption executive order to make sure companies like Apple and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, the world’s largest chip manufacturer, can continue with plans to move some productions to the U.S. NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor reports for Sunday TODAY.
