Richard Attenborough’s British war epic depicts Operation Market Garden, a failed Allied operation in Nazi-occupied Holland during World War 2. The film’s ensemble cast includes Connery as Major-General Roy Urquhart, along with Michael Caine, Gene Hackman, Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Olivier, Robert Redford, and more.
