Travel experts at Dog Friendly Cottages have created a new interactive map to help dog owners find the most dog-friendly forests near them.

Scrolling down the page of the Dog Friendly Cottages homepage, people can enter their postcode (or the postcode of where they are travelling to) to find dog-friendly forests nearby.

Green paw marks on the interactive map signify the highest-rated woods with plenty of space for your dog to roam.

Yellow and red paws indicate other charming woods that may have fewer amenities or slightly lower ratings, perfect for nature lovers seeking a quieter option.

Rating forests up and down the country, the team at Dog Friendly Cottages have revealed the eight best dog walking trails across the UK.
