Music’s biggest night is under way — and there are already major wins in some of the most coveted Latin music categories.

To no one’s surprise, Bad Bunny took home the Best Música Urbana Album Grammy for his magnum opus DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. It was his second win of the night; earlier, he won Best Global Music Performance for “EoO.”

Benito took a stand with an impassioned acceptance speech when he went onstage to accept the award for Best Música Urbana Album. “Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out. We are not savage, we are not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans,” Bad Bunny said as he accepted the Best Música Urbana Album.

Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, the boisterous duo from Argentina, won the Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album Grammy for their celebrated project Papota. It’s their first-ever Grammy win and comes after the duo earned five awards at the 2025 Latin Grammys. “We’re very grateful for the opportunity that you’ve given us… Thanks to Argentina and all of Latin America, we love you,” Paco said in Spanish in an acceptance speech.

Natalia Lafourcade took home the Best Latin Pop Grammy for her album Cancionera, beating out Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Alejandro Sanz, and Andrés Cepeda. It’s the first time the Mexican singer has won the award, and marks her fourth Grammy win overall.

Meanwhile, Carín León secured the Grammy for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) for his album Palabra De To’s (Seca). It’s the Mexican singer-songwriter’s second win for that category. He took home the same award last year for 2024’s Boca Chueca, Vol. 1.

Four-time Grammy winner Gloria Estefan has earned yet another one, this time for Best Tropical Album for her Raíces LP. At last year’s ceremony, the pop queen took home the Best Global Music Performance award for “Bemba Colorá.”
